Our Rotary Club hosts a Secret Santa shop for the elementary school during their parent-teachers conference days - Dec. 6th, 7th, and 8th for 2022. The workshop hours are 11-5 on Tuesday and Wed and 11-3:30 on Thursday.
We assist the students to shop with their list for parents, grandparents, pets, aunt and uncles, friends, etc., and stay within their budget. We also help them wrap the gifts. We always have a great time and the kids enjoy it. It is a lot of fun helping the little ones!
We offer this experience during conferences so that parents can attend the conference and not worry about what to do with the children. Usually a win-win for students, parents, and the club!
This fundraiser often gives us an opportunity to serve with students from the Midlakes Interact Club - a student-aged Rotary-type club sponsored by our Clifton Springs Rotary Club
