What is Rotary?

Rotary International is a global network of service-focused business and

professional leaders who are organized into local clubs that work together to

provide humanitarian service and promote goodwill and peace. Founded in

1905 by Paul P. Harris, Rotary supports members' efforts to take action on

complex challenges like disease, poverty, illiteracy, and environmental issues,

with a strong emphasis on international understanding and high ethical

​ standards in all vocations.
